Actor Denies Anti-Vax Position After Narrating Disputed Pandemic Documentary

Liam Neeson has lent his voice to a new documentary that casts doubt on the legitimacy of vaccines and lauds ex- health official the political figure.

The Feature's Disputed Basis

Named "Plague of Corruption," the film is based on a well-known publication written by Judy Mikovits, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for claims that Covid was caused by a faulty batch of the flu vaccine.

Her writing partner, the executive producer, has previously authored books with far-right radio host Alex Jones. Heckenlively recently posted hailing Neeson's role in the documentary.

A Firm Statement

A spokesperson for Neeson have released a statement firmly refuting suggestions that he supports anti-immunization views.

"Everyone can understand that misconduct can exist within the pharmaceutical industry, but that cannot be equated to rejection of vaccines," the statement reads. "Neeson never has been, and cannot be described as, against vaccines. His considerable work with the UN children's agency reinforces his consistent support for global immunisation initiatives."

It noted that the star was not involved in crafting the documentary's messaging and that concerns about its content ought to go to the filmmakers.

Central Claims Featured in the Documentary

According to the documentary, the narration spoken by Neeson features several strong claims:

  • It claims that pro-vaccine voices have called for "unconditional submission" to health authorities.
  • It declares that "medical science has become deeply politicised."
  • Kennedy is shown claiming, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they just aren't adequately tested."
  • It further attacks stay-at-home orders, claiming they caused mental anguish that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Regarding Covid vaccines, it cites a view that they were "developed too quickly" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Past Controversy and Recent Disputes

It also references a 2004 BBC documentary about HIV drug testing on children, which was subsequently the subject of a BBC apology by the corporation for unbalanced reporting.

In recent weeks, RFK Jr instructed the Centers for Disease Control to alter its official position that there is no connection between vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. This assertion is echoed in the film, contrary to a fresh analysis from the WHO confirming no such link has been found.

A Past Statement of Advocacy

Contrasting the film's narrative, Neeson has previously voiced firm endorsement for vaccines in his capacity as a charity ambassador.

Previously, he described vaccines as "a remarkable triumph," adding that "The discourse about vaccines in recent years has forgotten how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in our history."

"Plague of Corruption" finishes with Neeson's voice stating, "This is not the finish of our narrative. This is the start of a new chapter."
