Former Physician Accused of Sexual Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Prosecutors report that a ex- physician now faces charges for committing assaults involving thirty-eight individuals who were patients.
Details of the Grave Allegations
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of dozens of sexual offences – some of which involve acts against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 and 2021.
A deputy chief CPS official commented, “Legal teams have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate police inquiry, meticulously examining the available evidence to establish that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Police Inquiry
The charges follow what investigators called a “detailed inquiry” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

- Fifteen counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of assault by penetration.
- 9 counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- One count of attempting to assault by penetration.
