Lawmakers Release Latest Batch of Epstein Photos as DOJ Deadline Nears
Committee
The Congressional oversight panel has released a batch of roughly 70 photos from the estate of former adjudicated individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.
This represents the third such release from a larger collection of over 95,000 images the panel has obtained from Epstein's property. It includes pictures of quotes from the book Lolita written across a female's body, and obscured images of female overseas passports.
This disclosure comes mere hours before the 19th of December deadline for the DOJ to make public every files related to its inquiry into Epstein.
"These photos raise further questions about exactly what the Department of Justice has in its holdings," stated the senior Democrat of the panel, Robert Garcia.
What is in the Images Made Public
A number of the photographs made public on recently depict Epstein speaking with professor and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a personal aircraft; Bill Gates positioned next to a female whose identity is censored; Steve Bannon seated at a table opposite Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the latest affluent, influential individuals to be seen in Epstein estate photos disclosed by the committee - earlier disclosed photos also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, former US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.
Appearing in the images is not proof of any illegal activity, and several of the photographed individuals have stated they were not participating in Epstein's unlawful actions.
In a announcement released with the image publication, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate's representatives did not provide background information or dates for the images.
"Photographs were picked to offer the general populace with openness into a typical cross-section of the photos acquired from the holdings, and to offer insights into Epstein's associates and his profoundly disturbing activities," the announcement states.

The publication also contains several photographs of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita penned in dark ink across several locations of a female's body, such as her chest, feet, hip, and rear. Lolita recounts the account of a adolescent who was groomed by a adult literature professor.
A particular quote from the novel written across a female's upper body states, "Lo-lee-ta: the point of the tongue traveling of three steps down the palate to alight, at three, on the teeth".
Additionally, there are a series of photographs of female passports and official papers from nations around the world, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the information on the documents, such as names and dates of birth, is obscured but the panel indicated in a press release that the travel documents are associated with "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were engaging".
Another photo depicts Epstein seated at a workstation in close proximity in the company of three female figures whose features have been censored - one individual has her palm on Epstein's chest under his shirt, and a second is leaning to look at a close-by device. Epstein can be seen to be helping the final person attach a wristband.

An additional photo disclosed is a image of SMS messages from an unnamed person who states they have been sent "a number of girls" and are asking for "$$1,000 per girl".
Photograph Publication Comes Prior to DOJ Deadline
The panel has a vast number of photographs in its possession from the Epstein holdings, which are "both disturbing and mundane," its announcement on this week clarified.
The Congressional committee first issued a subpoena to the property of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while awaiting trial on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.
The photos and files the Epstein estate's representatives provided to the panel are separate from what is commonly referred to "the Epstein documents". That material are records in the Department of Justice's control related to its independent inquiry into Epstein.
Pursuant to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President made law recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its records. The full nature of the contents contained in the DOJ's files is unclear, and it's likely that much of the content will be significantly censored, comparable to the committee's materials
