Devoted fans of the actress are calling for that a individual who breached a fence and grabbed the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A viral clip depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing camera operators and charging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was due to attend court on the next day. It is unknown if he was charged.

History of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account includes recordings of him interrupting other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney concert in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last winter.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a punishable act," commented an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous supporters blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote another message on Instagram.

Several supporters also criticised guards at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while some demanded online networks to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Event Details

In clips spreading on the internet, Grande appeared surprised when she was grabbed by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.
